Components of Electricity Transmission System

The electricity trasnmssion system is the combination of different components that are responsible for carrying electricity from one place to another. The complete list of all components include Ground wire, Insulators, Conductors, Cross arms, pylons and conductors.

Conductors

These are the transmission lines which carry electricity from one point to another.

Read more about conductors here

Ground Wire

The top most wire whose basic purpose is to protect the system from lightning thunders.

Cross Arms

These are the supporting arms which carry the insulators. The conductors are then tightened to these insulators.

Insulators

They are used for carrying the conductors as well as for supporting them.

So that was all about trasnmission lines. Hope you loved it. Happy Electrical Learning.
