Voltage or current? Which one is actually menacing and which one actually kills you? In this post, you’ll learn the actual authority which is dangerous for you.
We already know that electric current is the flow of charge passing per unit time. The amount of charge passing through any area actually determines the extent of the damage. In other terms, it is actually the current which kills. From Ohm’s law, we know that for a constant current flowing through any circuit is directly proportional to the voltage applied across. This directly means the more the applied voltages, the more the current flow. Besides the magnitude of voltage, there are some other factors like frequency, the resistance of body and nature of current (ac or dc), but talking in general amps are actually responsible.
